A+A 2017: Work and Health in Focus

The International Congress for Occupational Safety and Occupation-al Medicine (A+A) has been the most important congress for safety and health at work – since the beginning of the 1950s. Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year it will feature a changed structure but be held in parallel with A+A 2017 again.

By summer 2019 Messe Düsseldorf will build not only a new multi-functional hall with conference facilities but also a fully glazed new entrance south complete with a translucent, LED-lit canopy roof. As a result one of the most state-of-the-art and multi-functional trade fair locations and convention venues will come into being in the southern part of the Düsseldorf exhibition centre.

Tickets for A+A 2017 (17 to 20 October) are now available online, at www.AplusA.de. Anyone buying e-tickets will benefit twice, saving both time and money. Visitors can purchase their tickets online and either print them out at home or download the relevant codes. In either case, they can use their e-tickets for free travel to and from the exhibition centre by public transport.

The 30th A+A in Düsseldorf, which ran for four days (27-30 October), comprised 1,887 exhibitors from 57 countries and provided information for more than 65,000 visitors (2013: 63,000) seeking to learn about the latest trends in occupational health and safety, health promotion at work and safety and security management. This is a new record in the history of this event.
