Company Profile

The company ALBA sh.p.k was set up in Albania in 1993 with the purpose of producing shoe uppers.

The factory started the production and, step by step, thanks to the great far –sightedness and enterprise of its principals, thanks to the continuous technological investments, to the capacity of its technicians and to the diligence of its workers, it became one of the best and most important production realities of Albania opening new departments like the cutting and prelasting where at present over 850 people are employed.

An additional structure employing some other 670 people including the cutting, stitching and prelasting departments was also created. After a careful analysis of the technical and production background accumulated during over 15 years activity, the management of the factory decided that the time was ripe to start producing safety and working shoes too and a new commercial company called Alba & N based in Barletta (BAT) was created in 2006 with the purpose of looking after this new " production segment".
