About A.LU.TEC

Action defined by industry for industry

A.LU.TEC was set up in 1995 and is located in Lycée Victor Bérard. It provides businesses with assistance for the development and EC conformity testing of their products (prescription lenses and frames, frames and lenses for sunglasses, skiing masks, etc.). The laboratory works on a private basis.

Networked operation

The collective technological action taken by ALU.TEC is determined by industry for industry, in the following manner:

• Annual consultation of businesses (consultation of all members) and suggestion for an action programme
• Approval of the programme and budget by the Board of Directors
• Constitution of workgroups (voluntary participation by companies) for steering action by the industry
• Transfer of technology to all companies

The action is supported by financial partners with funds from FEDER (Europe), the French State, the Franche-Comté region and the Departmental Council of Jura.
