Die Advantage 400 Halbmaske.
Die Advantage 400 setzt noch nie da gewesene Standards im Bereich der Benutzerfreundlichkeit. Der Träger kann die Maske schnell und einfach entsprechend seiner persönlichen Bedürfnisse einstellen und anlegen. Die Advantage 400 besteht aus nur 3 Hauptkomponenten, die sehr einfach gereinigt werden können: Kopfband, Innenmaske und 4-Punkt-Joch.
Die patentierte einteilige Kopfbänderung ist einzigartig auf dem Markt. Sie gestattet dem Träger einen intuitiven Gebrauch und bietet höchsten Komfort und Flexibilität. Die „Drop-Down"-Option erlaubt die Maske abzulegen, ohne dass die restliche Persönliche Schutzausrüstung (wie Helm, Gehörschutz und Brille) entfernt werden muss. Die Advantage 400 kann bis zum nächsten Gebrauch sicher vor der Brust getragen werden. Durch Schließen des Hebels („Lock-Down"-Modus) kann der passende Sitz der Kopfbänderung eingestellt werden. Die Advantage 400 kann dann ohne weitere Einstellungen sofort wieder verwendet werden. Das einteilige Kopfband vermeidet Druckstellen am Kopf und lose herunterhängende Bänder im Gesicht des Trägers. Das resultiert in maximalen Komfort bei 100% Sicherheit.
Die einteilige MultiFlex Innenmaske besteht aus hartem Kunststoff, der mit weichem Silikon umspritzt ist. Diese einzigartige Kombination gibt der Innenmaske starken Halt und gleichzeitig außergewöhnlichen Tragekomfort. Weiterhin reduziert die einteilige Maske den Wartungsaufwand.
Das 4-Punkt-Joch besteht aus Hartplastik und schafft einen perfekten Sitz der Kopfbänderung. Der Hebel des Jochs stellt die Maske entsprechend der Einstellung fest. Die Advantage 400 ist sowohl mit einem einfachen EN 148-1 Gewindeanschluss (Advantage 410) als auch mit doppeltem MSA Bajonettanschluss (Advantage 420) erhältlich. Für beide Varianten bietet MSA eine große Auswahl von verschiedenen Filtern, geeignet für sämtliche Anwendungen.

The MSA Advantage family of full face and half masks is now expanded by a new and innovative product that stands out due to exceptional comfort and sophisticated design: The Advantage 400 half mask.
The Advantage 400 sets standards never seen before in the area of ease of use. The user can quickly adjust the mask according to his individual requirements. Advantage 400 only consists of three major components, that can be easily cleaned: head harness, nose cup and 4-point yoke.
The patent-pending single loop head harness is unique to the market. It grants the user an intuitional operation and offers high comfort and flexibility. The drop-down option allows the user to remove the mask from the face without removing his other safety equipment [like helmet, ear muffs or spectacles]. The respirator can be worn along the chest until the next us.
Lock-down permits to set the harness to the proper fit. It can be then reused without any further adjustments. Due to the single loop feature of the harness there are no pressure points or dangling straps in the user's face. This results in maximum comfort with 100% safety.
The one-piece MultiFlex nose cup is made of soft and smooth co-molded silicone and rigid plastic. This unique combination gives the face piece great durability and extraordinary stability when worn, without compromising comfort. Furthermore the one-piece feature reduces maintenance effort.
The 4-point yoke consists of hard plastic and guides the harness straps to a perfect fit. The yoke's lever locks the mask according to the adjustment.
The Advantage 400 is either available with single thread EN 148-1 connection [Advantage 410] or with twin bayonet MSA connection [Advantage 420]. For both versions MSA offers a wide range of different filters, suitable for all applications.

Durch die individuellen und anatomisch geformten Kapseln für das linke und das rechte Ohr, der einzigartigen Kopfbügelkonstruktion und dem größeren Innenraum für die Ohren, ist ein hoher Tragekomfort und ein zuverlässiger Gehörschutz gewährleistet. verfügen über eine Lärmpegelbegrenzung auf 82 dB(A)bei Mikrofon und Lautsprechern. Durch den AUX-Eingang ist eine 1-Wege-Kommunikation (z.B. durch Anschluss eines Funkgerätes) oder der Anschluss eines CD-Players möglich. Der automatische Sendersuchlauf und die Lautstärkeregelung erfolgen über 3 große Drucktasten. Weitere Funktionen wie z.B. die Batterie-Sparfunktion, der Batteriealarm und ein Radiosender-Memory steigern den Bedienkomfort. Alle Modelle sind uc auch als helmadaptierbare Kapseln erhältlich.
Die lärmpegelabhängige Schalldämmung bei left/RIGHT CutOff Pro begrenzt gehörschädigenden Lärm und ermöglicht gleichzeitig eine Unterhaltung in normaler Lautstärke. Umgebungsgeräusche werden von zwei extern befestigten Mikrofonen erfasst und von den Lautsprechern im Inneren der Kapsel auf einem sicheren Pegel wiedergegeben: in stereo und realitätsnah, da die Geräusche komprimiert statt beschnitten werden! Schwache Signale werden sogar elektronisch verstärkt. Somit werden wichtige Geräusche und Warnsignale übertragen.

MSA is proud to present the pinnacle of their portable gas detection range: The
ALTAIR 5X multi-gas detector with MSA XCell Sensor Technology.
The ALTAIR 5X can measure up to six gases simultaneously and can be fitted
with a wide range of both toxic and infra-red sensors, providing the flexibility
required to meet most applications.
At the heart of the ALTAIR 5X are MSA's XCell sensors, now with an extended
range covering
SO2, Cl2, and NH3. Superior stability, accuracy, repeatability, fastresponse and longevity characterize the new MSA XCell sensors. They are
remarkably long-lasting and the standard sensors are designed for an average life
of more than four years (more than three years for
SO2, Cl2, and NH3) Thesenew sensors allow for faster response/clear times, bump tests in less than 10

The latest line in MSA's FlameGard Series, the FlameGard 5 flame detector
family, is now available. It includes the FlameGard 5 MSIR with precision
multi-spectral infrared sensing, the FlameGard 5 UV/IR with ultraviolet and
infrared detection capabilities, the FlameGard UV/IR-H
2 for hydrogen flamedetection and the FlameGard 5 UV/IR-E with stainless-steel housing and Ex e
wiring compartment.
The FlameGard 5 MSIR is a multi-spectral infrared detector that featuresbreakthrough neural network intelligence for reliable discrimination between actual flames and nuisance false alarm sources. Highlights of the FlameGard 5
MSIR Detector include a 70 m range, continuous optical path monitoring
(COPM) for high reliability, and a response time of under 10 seconds. The
detector is designed for simplified wiring and installation.
The FlameGard 5 UV/IR is an ultraviolet/ infrared flame detector designed todetect fires and provide alarm outputs while maintaining false alarm immunity.
Features of the FlameGard 5 UV/IR detector include HART communications;

PrimaX, the new fixed gas transmitter from MSA, is suited to a wide range of
indoor and outdoor applications for the detection of combustible gases, toxic
gases or oxygen.
Available in flameproof (PrimaX P) and intrinsically safe (PrimaX I) versions, the
PrimaX is ATEX, IECEx, UL and CSA approved, has IP66 ingress protection and
also SIL 2 approval from TUV.
Featuring innovative custom designed enclosures with integral keypad for ease
of use and a large LCD with clear plain text, both versions have the option for
HART (Highway Addressable Remote Transducer) digital protocol.
The PrimaX P can be 3 or 4 wire with the option of alarm and fault relays and
includes three status LED's while the PrimaX I is 2 wire only. Built in diagnostics
provide fault and warning information on the display. The PrimaX full scale gas
range of up to 22 gases and the span calibration points can be adjusted to suit
individual requirements and a wide range of applications. With plug-in
replacement sensors and an integral backplate for fast and easy installation, the
PrimaX range of gas transmitters is both cost effective and easy to use.

MSA has further strengthened its range of ULTIMA instruments with the ULTIMA MOS-5 Series with intelligent sensor for H2S Gas Detection.The ULTIMA MOS-5 Gas Transmitter is designed to protect people,equipment, and plants from the dangers of hydrogen sulphide. Suitable for use in SIL 3 systems and ATEX approved, the ULTIMA MOS-5 detects PPM levels of hydrogen sulphide (H2S)provding status indication andalarm outputs.
The ULTIMA MOS-5 performance is based on its metal oxide semiconductor sensor with unique technical parameters. High tolerance for abroad range of temperatures, humidity levels, as well as short-term high H2S concentrations and very low cross sensitivity to common gases makethis detector ideal for installation in harsh environments.
The ULTIMA MOS-5 provides analogue 4-20 mA and 3 relay (Warn,Alarm, Fault) outputs in stainless steel housing. The ULTIMA MOS-5E incorporates analogue 4-20 mA and three open collector outputs in aluminum housing.

ULTIMA OPIR-5 Open Path Hydrocarbon Gas Transmitter that provides
continuous monitoring of methane and propane gas concentrations
based on advanced infrared sensor technology features.
ULTIMA OPIR-5 includes continuous self-check monitoring for fail to safe
operation and automatic gain control compensates for dirty optics, rain,
and fog. The result is precision accuracy with exceptional reliability in
harsh environments and improved false alarm rejection with a length of
optical path up to 150 m.
ATEX / IECEx approved design, SIL 3 suitable with a possibility to split
range scales for ppm
m and LELm monitoring, operation down to -55ºC,fast response, reliability and versatility determine ULTIMA OPIR-5 to

MSA has further expanded its permanent instruments product range with
the
next generation ultrasonic gas leak detector UltraSonic IS-5,designed for instant leak detection, low maintenance, long-term and
failsafe operation in harsh environmental conditions.
The Ultrasonic IS-5 detects gas leaks instantly. This makes it possible to
significantly reduce risk and enhance safety on oil and gas installations.
Unlike conventional detection methods (point and open path detection)
the Ultrasonic IS-5 detector is neither affected by changing wind
directions and fast gas dilution. Nor do the ultrasonic detectors have to
wait for a hazardous gas cloud to accumulate. Instead they respond
instantly to the ultrasonic noise that pressurized gas leaks generate.
Based on a highly stable and robust microphone technology the
Ultrasonic IS-5 detects 0.1 kg/s leaks in a radius up to 20 m from the
leak. The outputs from the detector represent analogue output 4-20 mA,
relay output (NAMUR or dry contacts) selectable to Alarm or Fault
function via internal switch.
UltraSonic IS-5 is approved according to ATEX / IECEx standards as
intrinsically safe equipment that can be installed in hazardous areas.
Additionally, the UltraSonic IS-5 design complies with SIL 2 requirements.
The Ultrasonic IS-5 gas leak detector can be used for all pressurized gas
installations. Applications include offshore oil platforms, onshore oil and
gas terminals, refineries, hydrogen storage facilities, gas compressors
and metering stations, LNG plants and downstream chemical processing
plants (e.g. ethylene, methanol, ammonia, and propylene)

SUPREMATouch hat auch neue Ralaisausgangsmodule, um größereStröme zu schalten, wahlweise Solid-State-Relais zum Schalten niedriger Schaltlasten und die Möglichkeit zur Integrierung adressierbarer Feuersensoren.
SUPREMATouch ist nach ATEX zugelassen und für sicherheitsrelevanteAnwendungen, die ein redundantes System benötigen, hat es die SIL 3-Zulassung des TÜV. Bis zu 64 Messeingänge, sowohl mV als auch mA, und 80 digitale Ausgänge können in einem standardmäßigen 19"-System (mit drei Höheneinheiten) installiert werden, wahlweise mit digitaler Kommunikation mit externen Systemen. Satelliten können verwendet werden, um die Verdrahtungskosten für Systeme an großen Standorten gering zu halten. Die Systemkonfiguration geschieht einfach durch die Wahl von Menüoptionen; Programmierkenntnisse sind nicht notwendig. Für die Inbetriebnahme und Wartung großer Systeme ist die windowsbasierte PC-Software SUPREMA Manager erhältlich, die auch das Drucken von Systemberichten ermöglicht.

This is the first MSA fall protection product that has been produced for the European market, and includes three styles of harnesses, complimented by various lanyards and anchorages. test bench for any SCBA equipment on the market today. A newly designed test
head ensures easy handling and a tight fit of full face masks. It features an
