Remagen/ Cynthiana USA

The new helmet system is based on an innovative platform that enables the user to configure his/her individual helmet.

Whether a type A half-shell helmet or type B three-quarter-shell helmet - the Magma System offers it all, while keeping the design thoroughly consistent.

Bullard Magma helmets provide superior equipment to agencies with limited budgets without compromising comfort, safety and functionality.

Magma features a lightweight design with less than 1,400 grams, thanks to an innovative shell material, while offering the utmost in functionality.

Users can breakdown and reassemble the helmet components within 5 minutes.

This system also offers a large variety of useful adjustment options to support safety and wearing comfort.

The front and rear height of the head ring can be adjusted independently, as well as the wearing height.

The three-dimensional visor covers the retracted front frame to provide a maximum upper and lateral field of vision, while also covering the complete face down to the chin, leaving space for spectacles, protective goggles and a respirator mask.

Lamps can be attached to the Magma helmet, using the new universal adapter developed by Bullard.

The adapter is attached below the eye line, for low-reflection illumination even in intensive smoke and also for a low centre of gravity.

Bullard has put special focus on operating costs.

No other helmet consists of so few components. Accordingly, fewer components mean fewer replacement components from wear and tear and fewer components as spare parts. Each component can be replaced individually at reasonable prices.

The helmet is approved according to EN443:2008, the visor and the eye protection according to EN14458:2004, and the protection goggles according to EN166.

Magma helmets are available beginning April 2010 at authorised specialist retailers. Prices range from €189.00 to €269.00 depending on the helmet type (A or B) and the selected inner equipment.
