Vom 18. – 21. Oktober findet zum 32. Mal der Internationale Kongress der A+A - Sicherheit und Gesundheit bei der Arbeit - im Kongresszentrum Düsseldorf statt. Die Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft für Sicherheit und Gesundheit bei der Arbeit (Basi) e. V. lädt als Veranstalterin alle Fachleute ein, sich an den vier Kongresstagen über die gesamte Bandbreite aktueller Themen im Bereich Sicherheit, Gesundheit und Ergonomie zu informieren und mit zu diskutieren.

Wenngleich in der Vergangenheit schon enorme Fortschritte realisiert werden konnten, ereignen sich europaweit immer noch jedes Jahr vier Millionen Unfälle am Arbeitsplatz.

Düsseldorf will be dedicated to prevention and safety topics from 18 to 21 October. These are the dates for the biannual A+A, the leading International Trade Fair with Congress for Safety and Health at Work. At its inception in 1954, the trade fair was launched as a national event for “Occupational Safety + Occupational Medicine”. Since then, A+A has developed into an authoritative international idea and market platform. This year, with 1,596 exhibitors from 54 nations on 57,500 m² of booked exhibition area, it is posting new record numbers and presents itself as international as never before. Two thirds of the exhibitors come from abroad. After Germany (27,200 m²), the highest demand for display area comes from Italy (4,500 m²), China (3,200 m²), France (3,000 m²), Great Britain (2,800 m²) and the Netherlands (2,000 m²).

Unfortunately, people still lose their grip while performing dangerous work and accidents happen. Of all the injuries reported to the German social accident insurance DGUV, at 30 percent hand injuries are the most frequent. The picture is the same across Europe. In order to prevent such accidents it is important to wear the right gloves for the work.

18 to 21 October 2011 will see A+A in Düsseldorf, the leading international event for Safety, Security and Health at Work (Trade Fair + Congress), ring in the “home stretch” in view of the highly ambitious aims pursued by the European Union for the period 2007 to 2012. L’objectif est clair : avec sa stratégie entrée en vigueur depuis 2007 en matière de santé et de sécurité au travail, l’Union Européenne souhaite d’ici à 2012 atteindre une réduction de 25 % des accidents du travail. Et même si par le passé de remarquables progrès ont pu être réalisés, chaque année voit encore se passer quatre millions d’accidents du travail. La manifestazione A+A 2011 a Düsseldorf ha aperto i battenti registrando un record di espositori e di area espositiva affittata e, dopo quattro giorni di manifestazione (tenutasi dal 18 al 21 ottobre), la fiera leader internazionale con relativo Congresso dedicata alla Protezione individuale, alla Sicurezza Aziendale e alla Salute sul posto di lavoro, ha potuto mettere a segno un nuovo massimo storico sul fronte dei visitatori. Sono stati infatti 60.100 gli operatori del settore giunti a Düsseldorf, una cifra mai sfiorata prima d'ora nella storia della manifestazione (nel 2009 erano stati 55.800), i quali si sono informati presso i 1.600 espositori provenienti da 54 Paesi sulle tendenze attuali e sui prodotti innovativi che garantiscono un lavoro sicuro e salutare in grado di realizzare processi aziendali senza problemi.

A+A 2011 se inauguró en Düsseldorf con nuevas marcas en cuanto al número de expositores y la contratación de superficie de exposición. Al final de sus cuatro días de duración (del 18 al 21 de Octubre de 2011) esta feria monográfica y líder internacional con Congreso para la protección personal, seguridad operativa y salud en el trabajo registró otro valor punta en cuanto a los visitantes: 60.100 visitantes profesionales, más que nunca en la historia de esta feria (2009: 55.800), se informaron en los stands de unos 1.600 expositoes procedentes de 54 países sobre las tendencias actuales y las innovaciones en materia de productos en torno al trabajo en condiciones de seguridad y la protección de la salud de los empleados, así como la realización de unos procesos operativos sin incidencias.

El sprint final con vistas a los ambiciosos objetivos marcados por la Unión Europea para el período 2007-2012 ya ha empezado. El objetivo de la estrategia que persigue la UE en materia de salud y seguridad en el trabajo es lograr reducir en este tiempo los accidentes laborales en una cuarta parte. En Europa cada año se siguen produciendo alrededor de cuatro millones de accidentes laborales.

Het doel is duidelijk: met haar communautaire strategie voor de gezondheid en veiligheid op het werk wil de Europese Unie tussen 2007 en 2012 het totale aantal arbeidsongevallen met 25 procent terugdringen. Hoewel in het verleden al enorme vooruitgang is geboekt, doen zich in heel Europa ieder jaar nog altijd 4 miljoen ongevallen op het werk voor. Ook verbeteringen op het gebied van arbeidsveiligheid en arbeidsomstandigheden zijn ongelijk verdeeld over de verschillende landen, branches, bedrijven en werknemers.

Tijdens de vier beursdagen (3 tot en met 6 november) lieten in totaal 55.800 bezoekers (2007: 55.200) zich bij de 1.541 exposanten afkomstig uit 61 landen informeren over de nieuwste trends op het gebied van persoonlijke bescherming, gezondheid bij de arbeid en veiligheidsmanagement binnen het bedrijf.
